This policy explains what information Makelya (makelya.com) collects, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Order information: name, email address and billing details you provide at checkout
- Account information if you create an account
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device and pages visited
- Email address and messages you send us, including support requests
- Email address if you subscribe to our newsletter
How we use it
- To process orders and deliver your downloads
- To provide customer support
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure
- To improve our website
- To send emails you have agreed to receive (you can unsubscribe at any time)
Payments
Payments are handled by PayPal, including card payments through PayPal, or, for products sold through our Gumroad checkout, by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record and processes the payment and shares your order details with us so we can support you. We do not see or store your full card number. PayPal’s and Gumroad’s own privacy policies apply to the data you give them.
We use MailerLite to send the emails you have agreed to receive, such as order follow-ups and offers. Your email address is shared with MailerLite only for this purpose. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to support@makelya.com to be removed.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout and login to work, and basic analytics to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the shop may stop working.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with services needed to run the store: payment processors, web hosting and email providers, and analytics tools such as Google.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and legal reasons and to support your downloads. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain uses. Email support@makelya.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our shop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
International transfers
We are based in Morocco and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States.
